There isn’t one universal “best” bank, since gold-buying options vary heavily by country.
In the US, most major banks (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo) don’t sell physical gold directly; buyers typically use dealers like APMEX, JM Bullion, or Kitco instead, or gold ETFs through a brokerage.
In countries like India, banks such as HDFC, ICICI, and SBI do sell gold coins, though often at a premium compared to jewelers or bullion dealers. In parts of Europe, banks like Swiss institutions (UBS, Credit Suisse legacy branches) offer gold bars and coins.
Before buying, compare premiums, storage fees, and buyback policies across banks and dealers. I’m not a financial advisor, so consider consulting one for guidance tailored to your goals.
