Is There a Schwab Gold Fund?

Schwab does not offer its own proprietary gold mutual fund, but it does have gold-related investment options available through its platform.

Schwab Asset Management runs the Schwab ETF Select List, and investors can buy gold-focused ETFs like abrdn Physical Gold Shares (SGOL), which tracks the LBMA Gold Price and is commission-free to trade at Schwab.

Schwab also offers access to third-party gold mutual funds, such as First Eagle Gold Fund (SGGDX) and Gabelli Gold Fund (GOLDX), through its Mutual Fund OneSource program.

So while there’s no “Schwab-branded” gold fund, Schwab provides several ways to gain gold exposure.
