Institutions
Turner opened for business in 1990 to serve institutions, and it’s still our primary business. We offer separately managed accounts (individual portfolios) for a range of institutions, such as corporations, foundations, endowments, educational and non-profit enterprises, public-employee retirement systems, and Taft-Hartley plans. Those accounts are invested in growth stocks, value stocks, and core stocks (a blend of growth and value stocks) in designated capitalization segments, from micro-cap stocks to large-cap stocks. We apply asset limits to our portfolios before they get too big, believing that such a practice is in the best interest of our institutional clients.

Managed Accounts
Turner entered the Managed Accounts marketplace in 2001 to broaden the firm’s distribution footprint to include high net worth and institutional clients working with Financial Advisors at the premier broker/dealers around the country. We recruited an experienced team to lead this effort, and the Managed Accounts unit has grown significantly since its founding. Currently, we offer a broad range of growth, quantitative, international/global, and core/value investment strategies to the marketplace and have developed close relationships many of the largest broker/dealers in the industry. The Managed Accounts channel is integral to Turner’s business strategy and we remain committed to providing outstanding service to our clients.

Sub-Advisory
Turner's Sub-Advisory Services team is responsible for marketing and supporting sub-advisory relationships to a wide range of partners, including many leading financial services organizations. Sub-advisory services are a major strategic focus for Turner. We currently supervise a variety of mutual fund, variable annuity, and co-mingled sub-advisory assets, representing a large portion of our overall client base. The Turner investment approach is an institutional approach that emphasizes disciplined research and portfolio construction (style purity), communication (no surprises), and a sector-focused research team of experts.
