Company ABC was in the news today/I don't approve of the business of Company ABC. Does [my Turner fund] own it?
Each Turner Fund invests according to the investment philosophy and strategy set out in the Prospectus. There are currently no Turner Funds with socially-conscious mandates. We recommend that all investors read the Prospectus carefully before investing in any mutual fund, and that they continue to review Fund information to stay updated on the Fund’s investment goals, strategy, process, and performance.
Are Turner's stock-fund managers authorized to buy or sell options or futures contracts? Sell short? Buy on margin?
Currently the Turner Funds do not use any of these strategies; however, these strategies are allowed as permitted investments, as detailed in the Funds’ Prospectus/Statement of Additional Information (SAI).
